RE:Futures

Membership

Membership will be free for junior professionals and open to individuals with 0 – 15 years of experience working in the real estate sector.

Everyone is welcome - you do  not need to work for a company member of RE:UK to join. RE:Futures brings together AREF FutureGen, BPF Futures and IPF Future Leaders to create an even bigger and better network than before.

Joining During the Transition

You can't join RE:Futures directly yet, however all members of the three merging next gen networks will automatically have their membership transferred. 

In the meantime, we encourage you to join BPF Futures to be kept up to date with our plans for RE:Futures and gain access to events.

Our Structure

RE:Futures Leadership

We are delighted to announce the three Chairs of RE:Futures. Jo Jackson, current chair of IPF Future Leaders and IPF Director and main board member, will be the new Chair of RE:Futures. Alexander Davies, current Chair of AREF FutureGen will be the new Chair of the Future Leaders committee and Gafar Fashola, current Chair of BPF Futures will be the new Chair of the Early Careers committee.

Committee Applications

We are currently recruiting for the first ever RE:Futures committees. If you are interested and would like to apply, you can find the full terms of reference here and apply using the button below.

Key Role and Application Information

  • You must be a member of AREF Future Gen, BPF Futures or IPF Future Leaders to apply.
  • The committee structure will be split into two sections, Early Careers (0-5 years of experience) and Future Leaders (5-15 years of experience) – with each committee driving a programme of events appropriate for the respective level of experience.
  • We look for a broad range of jobs, roles and locations on each committee
  • There will be a Chair and a Vice Chair for each committee
  • Overseeing the two groups will be a Steering Committee, made up of the Chair of EC and the Chair of FL, along with the Chair of RE:Futures as a whole
  • We are encouraging applications for those interested to become part of both the Early Careers and the Future Leaders committees for a two-year term.
  • Members are expected to dedicate up to six hours per month on their duties and so it is vital you have the support of your employer
  • Applications will close on the Friday 23 January 2026
  • You can apply for more than one position but must submit an application form for each position
  • Outcomes will be communicated within 4 weeks from the closing date
