We represent investors, developers, owners, lenders, advisers and other organisations across the built environment, working to shape policy, raise standards and support innovation.

Real Estate brings together more than 500 member organisations, spanning investors, developers, owners, advisers and operators across the market.
We connect UK and international investors with the insight, networks and opportunities that make the UK one of the world’s most dynamic and investable real estate markets.
Working with local, regional and national governments, policymakers and industry leaders, we champion UK real estate, shape effective regulation and build investor confidence. Together, our members create and manage the homes, workplaces, infrastructure and other spaces that support communities across the UK.
Championing UK Real Estate
At home and internationally, we represent the industry to governments, policymakers, regulators, investors, the media and the wider public. We ensure the value of real estate and PropTech is understood and strongly advocated.
Through authoritative research, trusted data, events and the sharing of best practice, we raise standards, support better decision-making and drive innovation across the sector.

Our History
Three organisations. Now one united voice.
Launched on 1 May 2026, Real Estate brings together three leading property trade associations – the Association of Real Estate Funds, the British Property Federation and the Investment Property Forum – to create a more powerful, connected and influential organisation for the sector.
Having worked increasingly closely together over recent years, the three organisations recognised the value of combining their strengths, expertise and networks to create an enhanced convening and advocacy body for UK real estate.

Real Estate:Scotland
Real Estate:Scotland spearheads our advocacy work and convening power in Scotland.
Formerly known as the Scottish Property Federation, Real Estate:Scotland launched in June 2026 and delivers regional and national events that bring the industry together and works with the Scottish Government, statutory bodies and local authorities to champion the sector at home and internationally.
UK PropTech Association (UKPA)
Founded in 2018, the UK PropTech Association drives digital transformation across the property industry by promoting engagement between PropTech companies, property businesses and government to create an environment where innovation can thrive.
PropTech companies that join UKPA gain access to exclusive insights and a busy programme of events.
Real Estate:Futures (RE:Futures)
RE:Futures is our dedicated network providing training, support and networking opportunities for early-career property professionals. Through an extensive programme of events, site visits, networking and mentoring, RE:Futures offers members opportunities that support long-term careers in real estate.
Membership is available to junior professionals and open to individuals with 0-15 years’ experience working in the real estate sector. Everyone is welcome - you do not need to work for a corporate member of Real Estate:UK to join.
