Your Guide to CPD Points & Professional Development
Proud to be a CPD Approved Provider
As an official CPD Approved Provider, all our events are rigorously assessed against The CPD Group’s A.C.C.R.E.D.I.T.E.D. Framework. This ensures that the time you spend with us is high-quality, structured, and recognised by professional bodies worldwide.

What are CPD Points?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. CPD points (also known as 'credits' or 'hours') are a way of measuring the time you spend in 'Active Learning'.
-
The 1:1 Rule: Generally, 1 hour of active learning = 1 CPD Point.
-
Active Learning: This includes the time spent in seminars, workshops, and Q&A sessions. It excludes breaks and registration time.
-
Terminology: While some industries use "Points" and others use 'Credits' or 'Units' under The CPD Group standards, they all refer to the same thing: verified learning hours.
How to Claim & Use Your Points
1. Receive Your Certificate
Following our event, you will receive a digitally verified CPD Certificate. This certificate will feature:
-

2. Digital Verification (QR Codes)
Most of our certificates now include a QR Code. You can scan this to immediately verify the authenticity of your training. This is a valuable tool when presenting evidence to a regulator or a new employer.
