Events Terms and Conditions
Event Eligibility:
These conditions apply to all events run by Real Estate:UK (RE:UK), RE:Scotland (also known as the Scottish Property Federation), RE:Futures, and UKPA. Partner events are not covered by the terms and conditions listed below therefore please refer directly to the third-party organiser when booking a partner event.
The event registration /holding pages on the RE:UK, RE:Scotland and UKPA websites clearly specify the eligibility criteria for each event. These may include:
- events exclusive to RE:Futures members. Please refer to further information on RE:Futures membership here.
- member-only events (open to RE:UK, RE:Scotland, and UKPA Gold members), or
- events open to all attendees, including RE:UK, RE:Scotland, non-members, RE:Futures members and all UKPA members.
How to Book:
Bookings must be made through the member portal or website unless otherwise specified for particular events. If you have not yet registered for the member portal, you can do so here.
Please note:
Members are required to log in to the portal to proceed with their booking in order to access exclusive member rates.
If you are an RE:Futures member, you should also log in to the member portal to access discounted rates.
Non-members are required to book directly through the website.
Booking Confirmation:
By completing a booking, you will be required to agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you read them carefully before finalising your booking.
If you experience any difficulties during the booking process, please contact the Events Team, who will be happy to assist.
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email. Please note that for bookings made on behalf of another delegate, the confirmation email will be sent directly to the registered attendee.
Booking Information & Responsibilities:
It is the responsibility of the booker to ensure that accurate and complete information is provided, including the correct organisation name and delegate details. If you are unsure of the correct organisation name, please refer to the member directory here.
This information will be recorded in our system and used for the creation of name badges, name cards, and where applicable, the digital programme.
Information recorded and held by RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA will be used solely for processing the booking and for RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA’s marketing purposes. We do not share this information with third parties for marketing purposes. Please note that, if required by the venue, catering company, or any other external supplier, it may be necessary to provide the names and organisation details of all attendees. In such cases, your name and organisation details will be shared solely for the purposes of event security, access control, and to support catering arrangements.

For all events, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
For free events, once capacity has been reached, any additional bookings will be placed on a waiting list. Any member who has booked on an event and then is unable to attend should advise the events team so their place can be re-allocated to a delegate on the waiting list.
For paid events, should you be unable to attend an event we would welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no extra charge. Please notify the events team no later than two working days prior to the event providing the name of the original delegate and the name, organisation, and email address of the replacement so that we can update the booking accordingly. Where no prior notification of a substitute has been provided, we reserve the right to refuse entry to the substitute on the day.
It is the responsibility of the delegate and/or booker to inform us of any dietary requirements, accessibility needs, or any other arrangements necessary to facilitate attendance at the event. We are committed to ensuring our events are as accessible and inclusive as possible and encourage you to provide such requirements at the time of booking. While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these requirements, this may be subject to venue limitations and the amount of notice provided.
Event Changes:
Dates, venues, speakers, and/or chairpersons are subject to change at any time without prior notice. However, joining instructions containing the most up-to-date information will be issued at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Event Content & Code of Conduct:
The views and opinions expressed by speakers, chairs, or any other individuals at the event are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA. The information provided during the event is for general information purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. Attendees should seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
All materials, presentations, and content provided at the event remain the intellectual property of RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA, or the respective speakers, unless otherwise stated. These materials are provided for personal use only and must not be reproduced, distributed, shared, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the relevant rights holder.
All attendees are expected to behave in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner at all times during RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA events, whether in person or online. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any delegate from an event without refund if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, abusive, or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions. Attendees must comply with all venue rules, health and safety requirements, and instructions given by event staff or representatives at all times.
Photography & Recording:
Events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded by RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA, or by authorised third parties, for use in promotional, marketing, and communications materials.
By attending the event, you consent to such photography and recording, and to the use of your image, likeness, and any captured audio or video for these purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform a member of the Events Team or event organisers upon arrival.

The prices listed on the events pages are exclusive of VAT.
All bookings must be paid for in GBP.
All bookings under £250 can be made by credit card only. VAT receipt will be issued and sent to the registered delegate within 48 hours.
Payments above £250 can be paid by invoice or with credit card. If you choose to pay by invoice, it will be issued and sent to the registered delegate within 48 hours.
Invoice Payment Terms are strictly 30 days from invoice date.
To be eligible for any member rates, organisations and individuals (and an RE:Futures member if an RE:Futures rate is advertised) must be members of RE:UK/RE:Scotland/UKPA Gold member) at the time of booking and at the time of the event.
We reserve the right to change the applicable rates for your booking where you or your organisation does not qualify for the discounted rate.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event and will refund or defer all booking payments. We do not, however, accept liability for travelling, accommodation or any other expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation or postponement.
RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA reserves the right to refuse entry to a delegate for non-payment or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
- More than 60 days before the event: full refund
- Between 60 and 30 days before the event: 50% cancellation fee
- Within 30 days of event: 100% cancellation fee
Should you be unable to attend an event we would welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no extra charge. Please notify the events team no later than two working days prior to the event.
RE:UK, RE:Scotland, RE:Futures, and UKPA reserve the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication. It is the responsibility of the booker and delegate (if different) to review the Terms and Conditions prior to completing a booking to ensure they are aware of the most up-to-date version.
