Nick Keable, Chairman of Real Estate Communication.

After an eight-year military career, Nick worked in public affairs in Brussels and London. He has since run several companies specialising in communications for the property sector.

Nick has guided political campaigns for development projects all over the UK and in the US, Germany and France. He has previously been a local authority councillor, including being a cabinet member and sitting on a planning committee for several years. He was also vice-chair of the Retail and Entertainment Council of the Urban Land Institute. He often speaks at conferences and events on the politics of property.

Clare Thomas, Partner, CMS Real Estate Group

Clare is a partner in the CMS Real Estate group and previous Chair of the Investment Property Forum (IPF). She has extensive experience acting for property companies, funds, institutions and in particular international investors on acquisitions, disposals, lettings and developments. Her transactional work spans multiple sectors, including office, hotel, retail and living. 

Clients include The City of London Corporation, Savills Investment Management, Far East Organisation, Gamuda, Fubon and Global Student Accommodation (GSA) as well as a wide range of private/international investors. 

She represented the IPF in its merger with the British Property Federation (BPF) and Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) to form Real Estate:UK.  Clare has been named one of Bisnow’s 51 most influential women in real estate and has appeared on The Lawyer Hot 100 List
