RE:UK response to MHCLG’s consultation on fees for planning applications

We have responded to the Government’s consultation on planning application fees, supporting proposals to better resource local planning authorities while emphasising that fee increases must deliver improvements in performance, consistency and decision-making. The response also highlights the important role PPAs can play in supporting efficient decision-making, while calling for greater consistency and transparency in their use.
