RE:UK response to revitalising high streets

We have responded to the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee’s inquiry - 'Revitalising High Streets'. We highlighted the role of strong public and private sector partnerships and a long-term shared vision to attract private sector investment. We also highlighted that the overall business rates burden is too high and empty property relief disincentivises investment in vacant units.
