    Kevin will join the RE:Futures Conference as a keynote speaker, bringing with him extensive experience as a senior business leader. He has a proven track record in running, restructuring, and growing UK real estate investment management businesses, spanning both start-ups and established organisations.

    A clear and strategic thinker, Kevin possesses a strong understanding of governance and risk, combined with a sharp focus on operational and financial performance. He is recognised for his exceptional communication skills, his ability to engage and influence stakeholders, and his excellent track record in leading successful change initiatives. His leadership style is thoughtful and collaborative, carefully weighing all options while maintaining the confidence to act decisively when required.

    Kevin’s approach to leadership is grounded in core personal values of integrity, transparency, and a commitment to delivering long-term investment performance.

    In his role as Head of the European business (excluding debt), he is responsible for day-to-day operations and ultimately accountable for achieving client target investment returns within appropriate risk-adjusted parameters.

    Rebecca adopts a multi-asset perspective across private markets, contributing to the development and delivery of investment views, with a particular focus on real estate.  

    Her role includes forming the house view for real estate, undertaking thematic and fundamental research, and leading model portfolio analysis to inform portfolio construction and long-term investment decisions.

    Her work also supports the integration of private markets within DC solutions and broader multi-asset portfolios. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Rebecca worked at Hymans Robertson, with a focus on DC pensions.

    Rebecca is a CFA charter holder and holds a First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey.

    Vanessa became Chief Executive of Real Estate:UK in June 2026. She is a business leader and innovator with nearly 25 years of extensive experience in corporate strategy, research, data, and innovation across a variety of real estate sectors and geographies. 

    Immediately before joining RE:UK, she headed up the research and strategy function at BNP Paribas Real Estate’s UK business and was a member of the executive leadership team, where she was recognized as an AI pioneer and technology-forward thinker, committed to fostering a culture of openness and transparency. Vanessa is also a long-standing supporter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), having served as its UK Chair between 2019 and 2021 and remaining a trustee to this day.

    Andrew Baum is Emeritus Professor of Practice at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where until 2021 he led the Future of Real Estate Initiative. He is advisor or board member for several property organisations including QIC, Newcore Capital Management, CBRE Investment Management and Ashby Capital. He holds BSc, MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Reading, and is a graduate of the London Business School investment management programme, a chartered surveyor and a qualified member of the CFA institute (ASIP). 

    He has held senior executive positions with Prudential, Nuveen and CBRE Global Investors, and senior non-executive positions with Grosvenor, Schroder and others.

    Baum’s PropTech 3.0: The Future of Real Estate was the most downloaded Saïd Business School report in 2017, and he was also winner of the UK PropTech Association Special Achievement award for 2019.

    He has published over 50 academic papers, and his textbooks on real estate valuation and investment have sold over 80,000 copies.
