Overview:
Over the last 15 years, UK real estate has operated in a rapidly evolving economic environment, which has included the impact of a prolonged period of quantitative easing and low interest rates, uncertainty following the Brexit referendum, and the shock of the pandemic.
Against this context, the IPF Research Programme has commissioned Bayes Business School to undertake a comprehensive study examining the performance of unlisted real estate funds during this tumultuous period. The research investigates the key fund characteristics that have driven returns, including the extent to which fund manager expertise contributes to outperformance?
