Event Host

You're Invited!

2025 has been a significant year for Restructuring Plans (RPs), with major judgments in Thames Water and Petrofac helping to further clarify case law. While companies continue to propose high profile RPs, somewhat unexpectedly, some retailers are also returning to CVAs for restructuring.

For property owners impacted by RPs, key concerns remain around fairness, levels of engagement and the adequacy of information disclosed - issues that were central to the recent consultation by judges on a new practice statement.

Join the BPF, hosts AlixPartners and our expert panel as we explore what these developments mean for landlords and the process overall.

We’ll review the recent judgements, examine how RPs are evolving in practice, and consider how the process can better balance accessibility for distressed companies with fairness and transparency for creditors.
